Sooo Cassidy and I have found another job and we are now both serving at lonestar steak house! kind of weird that we come here to experience australian culture and we end up working at an american chain restaurant... the people we work with are alot of fun and really friendly one of them is another canadian from toronto area and he has lied here for a year for school and said he will show us all the great spots on the gold coast and will teach us how to surf! bes...

So we made it to surfers paradise in one piece by taking the train and we have spent the last two nights with our friend alex. I found a job at a boat cruise place my frist day here and start my first shift tomorrow!!! super excited to make some good money and being able to buy food at a grocery and not a restaurant haha. we also found an apartment today right in central surfers paradise a block from the beach and around the corner from downtown shopping... which...
