Great pics kid - I'd obviously hate the wine tour-thing!
Just watching Ray Mears travelling south from Darwin bisecting the country to the south coast. He's following the travels of a Scot called John McDouall Stuart who was the first do this journey.Must have been looking for drink! He's lighting a fire with kangaroo dung !!! Can't wait to see yer mum trying that one the first time she teeters out into the desert in her high heels !
Not long now honey - nice talking to you this morning !!

Mmmm! love the look of the wine! Our wine rack is sadly lacking so we'll need to get spending! Roo keeps asking where his big cousin is and every time I switch on the computer we have to look at your albums, so for heaven's sake keep them coming! Well I reached the big 55 this week and Ruaraidh has informed me I'm too old! Great-- mama's on the slag heap already! Take care sweetie. Can't wait to see you. Do you think your mum and dad would care to have a tag along? Aunti Soos xxxx

Boy, I definitely get a bad press here, don't I !!!
Not long now darling - Am preparing a selection of bush hats and sandals (cold weather variety) as we speak. Just read a great article about Mayton guitars - built in Oz - might try and fit in a factory visit! Any news on moving flat - hope standards are going to be maintained for our visit!!
Bog off anyone else who writes a slag-off Nige contribution on wine/beer/bikes/being 50 !!!!!
Susan
Hi sweetie. What a clever girl. We are all very pleased for you and can't wait to see you when you come home. You make the most of your time in Oz and i ams ure you will have a great time with ma and pa. Ma's right-- some folk just never grow up! Still I suppose the fact that he's 50 this year is a bit of an excuse!!!!

What great news about the BBC! No wonder you're excited about it! Sent a text to your Mum the other day and was great to hear back from her-you'd think we lived on opposite sides of the globe given the little we see of each other! Life with 3 children and work is just too busy. Hopefully we'll catch up with your Ma + Pa before their trip to Oz. You certainly seem to be having a fab time and your Mother's pride was quite rightly shining through even in a text! I'll need to find out more about who Liam was having a quiet night in with-obviously way behind in the gossip stakes!!!
Ben
Hey Gill! Glad to see you're having a nice time! Why didn't you tell me you'd started a blog!? I hear that all the best people have blogs with Off Exploring! Keep having fun and enjoy yourself! All the best,
Ben

Great pics kid - keep your bum covered please -don't want to encourage the colonial types !
Mum's just seen my last message and apparently I'm dead/divorced/both!
Auntie Susie
Hi sweetie. Off roading looks good. The tree amazing too. You look so brown...white bum made us realise how tanned you are.
We've just come back from Glenmore. Went with new caravan and little Roo. Thick snow all round and Roo had his very own igloo right beside the van. Campsite was full ofstrange looking snowmen too!!
We had to come back early because the caravan locked us out- seriously! Neither set of keys would let us in after we had all been to have a shower. Roo saved the day and got in through a locker box from the outside and opened the door for us. He is telling everyone he is a super hero now!!
Keep those photos coming girl!
