Woke to another fine day, packed up and headed to Picton gateway to Marlborough Sound . Sat at the harbour front and enjoyed the relaxed feel of this Sunday morning. Boarded inter islander very well organised!! As we entered the ferry hold.

Lovely day warm with a breeze , walked into town . As elsewhere in the South Island very diverse small individual shops, plus a few charity outlets. Bought a cotton shirt for one dollar (Methodist charity shop) new ones where in the region of 80dollars about £40 . Went for a long walk , one of David's treks around the parks and back via supermarket. Later sat by the river in the sunshine .

Absolutly fantastic , forty min flight out to cape farewell and around golden bay. It was perfect weather and such a great view !!!!
