So, MuiNe is such a beautiful relaxed place. Bus dropped us at a resort that we managed to barter the room down to $7 for the night. Only staying 1 night. Dumped the bags, got the bekinis on and headed straight to the beach to enjoy the sunshine and stretch off on a lounger after an intense bus trip.Quite friday night spent sat on a balcony with a delicious bottle of Dalat wine for a bargain price, and played cards before we headed to bed at 10pm for a very early morning.
The early morning was 4.30am when a Vietnamese tour guide was banging on our door to get up, Karen was very funny waking up extremely disorientated. So mad rush to get dressed and into the 4 wheel drive hoping to see the sunrise, no luck though as it was to cloudy, a little disappointing but hey sure we will have more opportunities of stunning sunrises. The first stop was sand sledding, and wow what a way to wake you up on a saturday morning. This was FANTASTIC, mega good fun and made us laugh lots. A 14yr old boy was our guide for this and he was fab, taking photos and videos and pushing us so we went faster and would laugh louder. After a medium size sand dune he was happy enough to take us to a very large one that really was steep and we got some real speed up. But also sand everywhere!!!
So after sledding we visited white sand dunes, red sand dunes, a red canyon that we climbed to the top of and a fishing village where everyone was busy collecting and sorting the fish. We could of happily sat and watched this all day but had to go to the next stop which was the fairy stream. Our guides for this was a group of kids that were very sweet and walked us through the stream, picking us lucky four leaf clovers, then onto a hut where we were served a fresh coconut straight from the tree, lush!!!
Checked out and boarded another coach, heading for Saigon.
