Quick last entry from Bangkok, as headed into an internet cafe to get out of the sweaty smug. Aircon cafe beautiful.

Packed our backpacks and they seem to be getting heavier (altho we havent added anything)!! Left them in the hotel as we dont get the train until 10pm tonite. Its going to take 14hrs to get to Chiang Mai (nice)!!!

So Karen braved the soya milk and salad for brekko this morning, Gill still not building up the courage to have anything other than fruit veg and noodles. Sure she will have to when trekking and starving! Otherwise she will live on cigarettes at 1pound a packet!!

So you havent seen many photos but please take note the ghd's are yet to be used altho living in hotel luxury at the moment! Perfume on everyday, but sure the roughing it starts here as we look forward to a "simple" guesthouse and living with village tribes for the next week.

Really looking forward to leaving Bangkok as a few days here really is plenty to see and do everything. You soon get tired off saying no thankyou to all tuk tuk men. We have made the effort to learn, hello, goodbye and thanku in Thai..
