Hey there

We're now in Siem Reap, we got here yesterday, 17th, after ANOTHER coach journey, this time only about 6 hours. Again the only westerners, but this time no-one trying to feed us...damn!

Journey fairly uneventful, execept torrential rain, and the girl next to us throwing up!

We got to Siem Reap and went to a guesthouse, "Popular Guesthouse'really sweet, nice big rooms $6 a night...cold shower! But has a really relaxing restaurant/bar which did good food. Decided to have a chilled night and not to go to Ankor till day after tommorrow as will be a long day, so cards then bed.

Got up today for breakfast and found Dave, the ozzie we met on the slow boat to Laos there, mad. We had breakfast and told him we'd catch him later. Then went for a walk around Siem. Its a nice town, fairly quiet, Cambodia isn't as clean as other countries but the landscape is awesome, wooden huts on stilts, lots of water and bamboo trees.

After a coffee, we decided to go and give blood at the childrens hospital as they're screaming out for it and aren't picky whose they have...even ours! Gill went first, and after she seemed fine, but as she was sitting drinking a coke, she suddenely felt hot, looked like she might passout and they quickly put her on a bed again....i laughed lots, what a girl!

We both gave blood and have the pictures to show for it...and a t-shirt, we found out Gill is the same blood type as me, so we can always give each other blood...bonus!

Feeling like we've actually given something we're chilling for the rest of the day and heading to Ankor for the day tomorrow.
