Welcome. In australia now and have finally got wifi. We enjoyed New Zealand, spent 1 week in the North Island and 2 in the South Island. We arrived in Auckland, spent the night there before collecting our rental car, we then drove up the east side of the island as far as the Bay of Islands. Next stop was Opononi (west coast), then Orewa, Rotorua, Napier, Paraparaumu Beach and then finally Wellington. We then flew over to Christchurch and the next day collected our camper van. Next s…

Next stop was Picton where we left the camper van and took a boat ride out to the Marlborough Sounds where we walked the "queen charlotte track", a four day walk scenery really fantastic. Walk over, we arrived back in Picton and began our tour of the Sough Island. Nelson, Murchison, Franz Josef, Queenstown, Dunedin, Herbert, Timaru and finally Akaroa. Best of NZ for us, the Marlborough sounds, Bay of Islands, and Queenstown, oh and of course for me the Sauvignon Blanc.
