Took our left over breakfast (Amaya cooks enough to feed 4 people) in containers to eat at the beach. Getting there was super easy cause we knew what we were doing from yesterday. I'm getting really blunt with my "no, gracious" cause I have to say it about one hundred times a day to taxi drivers and people trying to sell us stuff. Day two at the beach was lovely as it was an even hotter day. There was a really large police presence on the beach warning tourists t...

After breakfast I was feeling really dehydrated and the sparkling water wasn't cutting it, so I went out on my own to search for bottled water. Walked for ages before finding any, found about 10 places selling rum and other liquor before I found a water stall. The water is also about triple the price of rum. It was an interesting experience walking on my own without Sam. Got called beautiful lady heaps and other men made kissing sounds at me. Got back to the apar...

Had a pretty **** sleep as I felt like a hot water bottle because of my sunburn. Turned the air con down low in the middle of the night which helped, but Sam was then freezing. Also had a bit of a sore head from all the rums and lack of water. Another amazing breakfast prepared by Amaya, highly recommend her casa which is called Casa Nova. She even offered to do some washing for us, which was awesome cause Sam only brought five teeshirts. Went out in search for c...

Woke and went one block over to Amaya's house for breakfast. Wow she can cook, there was so much delicious food and fresh tropical fruit. She'd also prepared fresh fruit juice and Cuban coffee. Our taste buds were exploding and our stomachs couldn't fit it all in. We met her Mum, husband and children. Her kids were really cute and full of energy running around as 2 and 5 year olds do. Got changed into active wear and sneakers to walk the Malecon which is a 8km br...
