Day 7 6 hour drive to Chandelow, a tiny village which has been practically untouched by tourism. We stayed in a heritage hotel and chose rooms by choosing a number ( so no one got preferential treatment. I chose 5 and Kate and I got the Maharajas room hi fives!! Mel and Chris got to sleep with 3 stuffed tigers and Helen and Estelle got the haunted kitchen!! After lunch we headed out on a jeep safari which was my favourite part so far. We visited 3 village, the first was textiles, the second pots and had a cool drink in the last. These were real traditional villages with people living in dung and mud huts. We were constantly surrounded by children desperate to touch us and have their photos taken. They also liked playing with my hair - I'm guessing the curls! That evening we sat on the roof top playing games and having a few GnT's! I managed to convince our tour rep at about 12am that we should have a night safari so we headed out to the dessert armed with a cooler and sat on a large rock for an hour!
