So there i was packed and ready for the sunny shores of Cairns... Had a fare few drinks to say the least, but managed to get an hours kip before waiting at reception for my shuttle to the airport at 4am. ....well next thing i know i'm waking up from passing out on the sofa at 6am a little dazed and freaked out. Ringing the shuttle i find out they wrote the wrong date down, however had i rang at 4am asking where my bus was they would have sent one... this inform...

I've not had too much to update on last couple of months... i finally settled down into 2 jobs, about time really.. moved out the apartment and back into Boardriders. The weather has taken a turn for the worse and been pretty reminiscent of an English summer.... rain!! So in the last week i've decided to make a move and continue on with the adventure. heading to Cairns tomorrow morning, plan on spending a few days there then hopefully hitchhiking to Darwin wher...

So i'm not very good at this keeping my blog upto date thing - but i keep getting nagged so will try remember what the hell i've been upto!! I ended up staying in Newcastle for a couple nights in the YHA there - really nice clean place, was styled like an english country mansion, with chandelliers and big leather sofas in the "ball room" aka the common room. Just spent the days chilling out at Nobbys Beach and had a game of drunken bingo on the host...

G'day from Down Under!! I arrived in Sydney 9am this morning.... and can officially say i didn't get lost!! The flight was pretty awesome! Because i was on my own, they moved me to an empty row so i just layed out with plenty on space for the 20 odd hours!! Managed also to drink a few glasses of red with my microwaved aeroplane meal - then watched Mamma Mia... what ended in my singing Abba to myself a little haha! 30 days until i'll be sitting on my aeroplane!! Thought i'd do this little post to look back at what it was like a month before it all began! Quite a few people can't believe i'm doing this, espically on my own... but most know it's a pretty me thing to do! So far i'm sort of organised i guess. Have my visa sorted and accomm for the first few days in central Sydney... then will see where i go from there!. still need some insurance though, what could come in...
