For my first few weeks at the orphanage hed have acupuncture every day. Looked pretty brutal. Were thick steel needles and some were put just below his eyes. He still cant walk at 2 and finds it hard holding his head up properly. Apparently when he came to the orphanage he couldnt even sit up, so hes made a lot of progress. Doctor Oyoona told me that his mother is very poor and cant afford to look after him. Its the case for most of the kids here. They arent actually orphans, just rom very poor families. Many are found abandoned.
