Hello!!! So, I'm in Singapore and have been for a couple of days now. Its a nice place although I'm glad I'm only staying here until tomorrow as its just a bit to westernised for what I'm after in this part of the world. Have met a couple of people in my hostel so still not lonely...always good! I'm off to Malaysia tomorrow on an overnight bus journey, which will take 16 hours!! It'll take me straight to Penang where I'll get to visit Georgetown (the first to be colonised and apparently a must see), from there I'm going (on the same day) to Hat Yai where I'll finally be able to have a bed at a nice little guest house called 'Cathay's'. I've e-mailed her and she's even looked up bus times for me so that is good! From Hat Yai I'll be taking the bus to Krabbi where I'll then get a boat to Ko Phi Phi (the Island from 'The Beach'). For one whole day I'll be able to get a well derserved rest before juming ship yet again and then bussing it to the east coast where I'll be then boarding the overnight ferry to Ko Pengnan. I should be there by the 6th just in time for the Full Moon Party there on the 7th, which is world renouned and crazy...can't wait. At this point I'm going to kick back and take a breather, chilling on Ko Pengnan before boating it up to Ko Tao where I'll get my diving certificate. Phew...thats a lot to write really quickly! I'm expecting to remain on Ko Tao untill about the 18th as that will give me 3 weeks to do the whole of North Thailand, Cambodia etc, however, you never know, I may decide to stay and be a hippy for a month. Letting you all know these plans now as I'm literally going to either be travelling or on a tiny island for the next few weeks so will probably be out of contact. Don't worry though because I'll be fine...did you hear that Mum and Dad, do not worry!!! Right I'll be off now then, I'll try to get the Singapore Pics on the site before I leave tomorrow. Saw some wicked temples today and even had a Hindu talk me and Naomi (the girl that I've met) round one of them, very cool! Speak to you all soon Gem xxxx ps.
