The Crazy Adventures of Gemma Jean
Hello hello hello!!
Well guys I have now officially finished my first tour and I am currently chilling here at Playa. I know the last entry was a little bief so i shall take this oppertunity to tell you all about what I have been up to...
So, to summerise in regards to my adventures in Mexico, it has been fantastic!! I have experienced local cuture, travelled through time to the age of the Myans, spent a few days in the jungle and now finally have landed at the coast where I proceed to burn baby burn!! I have eaten grasshopper, ants and live snails and have the stomach bug to prove it. No only that but I have tried several varieties of Tequilla and a drink rather like it called Posh...hmmmm, it was really nice...
The lovely honymooners have at last left my company. There were tears but I asked them to pull themselves together although I understood that it was hard!;-) They have invited me to visit them in Australia though (you'd think they would have had enough by now) so looking forward to that!!
I can honestly say that this trip has exceeded my expectations, and I know that it helped that I met some great people. Mexico is also a very beautiful country, especially where I am ight now as it's on the carribbean coast and full of palm trees. Mexican men on the other hand are just a tad sleezy but at least I know have half a dozen or so boyfriends, one of which skillfully crafted a rose, thorn and all, out of a tissue (classy), so how can I complain?!!
Oh, before I forget, you know how I told you about having a cup of coffee, well I have now had many cups of coffee and actually like it!! Yes, thats right folks, I am a coffee drinker!! Just thought I'd let you all know.
So the next part of the crazy adventure is that the lovely Hannah Lilley and our frind Vicky are coming to meet me on Saturday and I can not wait!!! Hopefully I'll dazzle them with my local knowledge and fluent spanish, leaving them speechless, only to be able to ascertain their thoughts by the slight nod of their head and look of total respect in their eyes! hehe.
After a week with the girls its off to Miami where I shall be unable to avoid botox, implants, and buying a monkey called Bubbles (that should make you happy Andy as I know how much you like monkeys!!). I dare say you shall here form me then, so don't worry about the surgery updates.
Lorraine, I'm reading the 'Time Traveller's Wife', which you bought for me, it's really really good so thanks.
Neil, I've finished Da Vinci Code, very good book but I'm going to trade it in for another at the book exchange at my hostel, hope thats ok!!
Carol, stop speaking formal spanish that no one uses!! You see that I know, how good is that?!
Ok folks, going to try the photo thing again, got some really good ones o check them out!!
Miss you all, keep the messages and e-mails coming.
