The Crazy Adventures of Gemma Jean
Hello!!
So I'm in Argentina now, yet another stamp in the old passport!
We've been in Salta for twio days now and I love it. Back to civilisation, for the moment at least.
Said goodbye to Swampy this afternoon as they now head to Santiago and we towards Rio. Very sad time and wish we could all go together but we can't although I'm sure I'll keep in touch with them!
Tomorrow we head towards Iguassu Falls, which I can imagin to be spectacular, I'm going to do a helicopter ride over them so very excited aboiut that!
Oh, yeasterday we all went canopying. I thought it was in a jungle but oh how wrong I was. We travelled in a bus for two hours to the most beautiful lake and canyon and then had to literally scramble to the top of one of the cliff faces where we found the first of nine zip wires. They sent us straight across the canyon at 30-40kph. You were solo when doing it so had to control your own breaking with your hand. It was scary at fiiirst but then I loved it and did a move across the longest zip line called the Superman where I had to get infront of the instructor who controlled the breaking whilst I lent forward arms outstretched. It was as close to flying as you can get and excellent!!! My friend Maddy managed to get some pics so I'll see if I can borrow her camera to download them.
Ann-marie, how did the holiday go? Bet the kids had a great time! You weren't too far away from me in Florida, should have popped on by!! hehe.
Soph, Em and Katie, good luck on results day, just remember that you always have options no matter what your results are, although I'm sure you'll be fine! I love you all very much so don't stress!!
Right, better go and check on the terrorist situation this crazy world on the BBC Web page. Fancy making me change my set in stone itinery!!!!!
Love
