Ok kids,
My overall views on Chumpon and my incrediable month here. I have had the best time and will miss everything. My best memories are of Thai Rath school, the autistic school, Pe Nougs bar and Mr and Mrs Whites Thai food resturant. Oh and mine and Bronwyns weekends away to the islands. My funniest memories are of Bronwyn (my room mate from South Africa). My sadest memories are leaving the kids, they were an inspiration to us all. They have so little but they're not sad they're the complete opposite, full of smiles and energy.
Chumpon itself is a quite place good for kite surfing and thai food. If you plan to visit you should defo do some volenteering, even though you may only be giving a little, the locals appricate it so much and it so worth while.
Bits i've missed out;
The markets are cool. The Sang som (Rum) is good. The island i recommend is Koh toa but Koh Panyang (spelt wrong), is good if you want to try out the full moon party but Koh tal is small and you can get to most places on foot. You feel the island is yours, the goats cheese is good also :-).
Ok speak sn
