Singing is done.

On the positive side the people were nice and I was able to sing a little. Not at full strength but better than I'd hoped.

On the down side the performance was just meh. No nerves, no buzz - just a feeling of anti-climax.

Will there come a day when I might enjoy that again?

Back on my own again. It's better that way - there's no need to pretend that I want to be around other people. Did I really think running away to Italy for a couple of weeks would magically make everything ok? Stupid.

Leaving Tuscany now and heading to Rome for a couple of days, followed by Venice.
