Hello from Nympsfield,
I expect it's a lot warmer where you are! It's been a bit foggy for the last couple of days although the weather at the weekend was absolutely gorgeous and Auntie Mary generated 6 bags of garden rubbish for Kevin to take to the tip!!
Ian has booked his ticket and leaves Heathrow on 4th Feb heading for New York. He then flies to Auckland and is busy researching jobs he could get to pay the rental while he's playing rugby. If he manages to afford to stay in NZ he heads on to Fiji and finishes with a few weeks in Oz before flying home at the end of July. It's all very exciting!! He's putting in as many hours as he can and quite enjoying it.
Chris is tolerating school and did manage to pass his level 3 sailing so he's looking forward to next year when he can really put things in to practice. They've got a theatre company doing Stig of the Dump at school this morning. The Bennetts are well and Ella stood up in assembly for the first time last week!
Kev is still snowed under with work.... I'm off down to the village hall for a pre Christmas sing with Rob's Mum and a few others this afternoon so we're starting to get festive.
Thinking of you lots. Take care, love from Tinkley Corner xxx

Hi Everyone
Just a quick update from anyone who hasn't heard from the travellers, they are having a few communication problems but are safe and well and have enjoyed America.
They are now just about to depart for Fiji.

Greetings from a grey and damp Gloucestershire! We received your card today and it all sounds lovely - thanks!
Half term is progressing and we're off to Cornwall at the weekend. Chris is really enjoying his sailing this week. Yesterday he took his feet out from the toe straps about a metre from the tack and forgot that he was leaning out at the time.....
Ian is enjoying his job with Hortus - I'm enjoying the mud!
Take care! Lots of love from us.
Kevin
When does Rob set sail for New Zealand?
