Just in case you look at this before Monday, have a very happy Christmas -we'll be thinking of you.

Hiya, It was lovely to speak to you and we're so pleased that you're having such a good time. Rob dropped in at the weekend and it was great to see him because you've all been missed. How are the modifications on the camper going? It all sounds VERY exciting!!
Kev had a day off work today and we went Christmas shopping - it wasn't actually too bad. I haven't been in to the Potting Shed ... it wouldn't be the same. They're knocking through to the sittting room tomorrow so it'll be quite dusty here I should imagine. We'll be glad of the extra space for Christmas though.
Ian's UCAS application has been sent so fingers crossed. He's been moving a drystone wall today and enjoying the physicality. He's got a County match against Wiltshire at the weekend - I don't know if we'll get to it because we've got the Christingle at St Bartholemew's and Chris is singing. Clare Got Ian and Will to help steward at the Christingle in Nailsworth last week which I think went well but was very wet. Just visas to sort now and he's ready for the off. He can't wait but he's got a fair few earning opportunities between now which he needs to make the most of. Izzy's home soon so it's going to be a busy couple of weeks.
Can't quite get my head around Christmas in the Summer. Ben says he's ordered the turkey in Sydney but barbequed turkey just doesn't sound right. He hopes to move on from Sydney after Christmas once he has all his diving qualifications.
The Bennetts' puppy is sooo cute and Lindsey is enjoying her job. Looks like we're partying at no.11 for New Year and we thought we'd do a progressive Burns supper this year and perhaps invite the piper to pipe us around the village!
No more news for now. Take care each of you and make the most of every minute!

What a lovely surprise to find your messages -especially a message from Lucy. It really sounds fantastic and I'm so glad you're having such a great time. I love the sound of the stars... I'm really pleased to hear that you're enjoying the food Lucy you're a star!
Lindsey heard this evening that she's got a job so we'll have to break open the bubbly here tomorrow night..... Bar Bennett will be on overdrive. We've been planning New Year's shenanigans and the builders knocked through on the upstairs extension today so all very exciting.
Ian is going to Bristol to book the Oz Experience at the weekend. We've been calculating how much ihis trip is going to come to and he should be able to earn enough before he goes to cover most things so I'm glad about that! It's almost certain that we'll be going to Canada in the Summer - I don't think the lads are really going to want visitors in NZ and it would mean going at Easter which isn't ideal.
Have a fantastic time in NZ and let us know what you think of it.
We'll toast you all tomorrow evening and you'll be missed.
Lots of love from Tinkley Corner

I am very well, not too skinny, I now love pineapples as well as pancakes!
Lots of snorkelling, went and visited a Fijian school, they were doing exams, even the receptian class!
Every one spoke English, they all did some gardening, sweeping up mangoes before lessons began.
We have arrived in New Zealand today, we think it might be Thursday or Friday, but it is raining.
Please can some one find out when the last earthquake was in Fiji? there is lots of pumice in the water and on a few beaches, the islanders think there has been a bit of volcano stuff going on!
Rob,lilla And Lucy
Hello everyone, we have been having a spot of bother posting messages as well as finding somwhere that had an internet connection, most of Fifi has only radio phones!
We started in San Fransisco, moved up to Yosemite Park, where it was snowing, didnt see any bears, but we certainly were looking, the stars here were particularly brilliant, even reflected in the river, it was rather special.
After this came Death Valley, I think it can only be described as awesome and 100 shades of brown! Also very cold at night, and frying in the day.
This was followed by Las Vegas, a mad place....
Hoover Dam, Boulder City and Grand Canyon, also snowing. Lilla was a coward and couldnt look over the edge, saw lots of Condors,a few Elk and several Coyotes.
Next thro Cowboy Land Arizona and back thro the desert to Los Angeles, Lucy wants to come back here with some friends when she is older to skate down the path that runs for 26 miles along the Pacific Coast. sounds like it could happen!
Of to Fiji..............
Oh hot!!
We went out to the Yasawas Islands and hopped around for 10 days, this was a snorkelling dream, just fabulous colours and the coral and fish are amazing, we are all nice and brown, and a bit peely!
Next we did a bit a of the main island and rain forests, but there is a bit of a coup going on!!

News Flash!!! Bob has finally caved in - the Bennetts are getting a dog for Christmas. One of Paul Reynolds' black lab pups who is going to be called Zak I think. All VERY exciting!!!
Life here much the same. All fine and busy as usual.
Take care all, looking forward to seeing some photos!
Kimberley
Hello All!
Hope you are having a fanctastic time on your travels! What is Fiji like? Is it nice and hot there? Where are you staying while your there? Rob has got really into his new adventure sport of kite-surfing, hopefully he won't break any bones this time! He was a bit silly the other weekend when sailing at the Student Nationals, and had himself an asthma attack, ending up in hospital on a nebuliser and steroids! But thankfully he is back on form now, the silly billy! Still feels pretty strange when we have been home together and not visited Tree-tops!
Lucy - Have you met lots of exciting new people, and made some interesting friends? Are you trying all the new types of food as you travel about? What has been your favourite place so far?
When do you fly to New Zealand for Christmas? Will you have a contact number when your staying in the house there, that Rob and I can give you a call on?
Missing you all lots, keep enjoying your adventure!
Kim
