Today we went to visit the famous Wolfe Creek crater. It took us about 2 hours to get there on the Tanami Desert road. The road had our favourite corrrrriggggatoins and we left plenty of dust behind us. The crater is pretty amazing and I managed to walk up to the rim but Dennis had to go one better and climb down the inside rocks and walk to the centre. It is the worlds 2nd largest meteor crater formed 300,000 years ago when a 50,000 tonne asteroid, travelling at15km/sec slammed into the earth. We also visited Halls creek's answer to the Great Wall of China, don't rush out here!
I'm getting used to this motel life with someone else doing the cooking!
