Woke up to heavy rain, so decided to forego the Forbidden Palace and took a cab to The Birds Nest. Ironic really - the Olympics are in the Uk and me and the family are at the site of the 2008 Games. It is a spectacular stadium and the iconic scene from the 2008 games. Again, the taxi ride is something that adds to the experience
