Waking up to see the dirty coffee cup with the half and half cream and milk mixture and cereal dried to the side wasn't very nice. The smell wasn't great either, our room was pretty warm. Feeling ok - No hangover. We got ready and headed into Jasper armed with our washing. It had been a while since we had done any. So we needed to wash all our clothes. We had breakfast in a place called smitty's. In fact it was 11:30, we actually ordered lunch. Honestly it wasn't very nice, it had been busy the day before so we decided to try it. Maybe we shouldn't had bothered.
We found a laundrette and put on all our washing. We had some time to kill and walked around the tacky gift shops.Picked up a few supplies before retuning back to put our stuff in the drier. Once everything was nice and clean and dry we headed back to the hotel to drop it all off. We found some stuff on telly and wrote out some post cards. Chris offered to cut my hair, it really did need doing. He done an amazing job with only a pair of beard trimmers!
The swimming pool was next on our list, it was nice - Small. It had a pool, sauna and a jacuzzi. We spent a couple of hours in here. Once my fingers had gone wrinkly it was time to get out. The jacuzzi was piping hot, must have been about 40 degrees.
We chilled back at the room, and it wasn't until late we decided to go and get some food, it was about ten o'clock. We walked up the Main Street and headed to KFC & Pizza Hut. It was alright nothing special, my coleslaw was bright green and didn't taste great. But Chris still ate it. Tonight on our way back to the hotel we saw 5 Elk grazing on the trees in the centre of town, it looked like one bull and the rest female. I didn't fancy all of these charging at me, so we made sure we gave them a wide birth. The cars going passed were going super slow! I think one of these could right off a car.
It was a really quiet lazy day, just chilled out and crashed. Not a very long blog today.
