Weve just finished a PADI Open Water Diving Course here in Nah Trang. I cannot explain what its like to Dive. Everyone must try it! The Fishies were Amazing. We saw big ones, little ones, a puffer the size of your head. Our insuctor Warren was funny, He tried to teach me how to float upside-down but I just floated off! He said me and Garath make excellent scuba divers and great diving Buddies!
We started the course with theory and quiz's then practicing in a pool on the first day. The second day we went to Octopus Rock and Moray Beach, we went down to 12 meters. Yesterday we went to the same places but went down to 18 meters, they dont realy feel much different, apart from having to Equalize more often. We have seen Dragon fish, Moray Eels, Clown fish (Nemo's), and star fishes big blue ones, and I saw a turtle, and alot of other stuff I dont know the names of yet. Ooooh Laura we saw a sea horse.
Apart from the diving course, we have just been getting tipsy and chilling on the beach. The night life here is lots of fun. Red Apple Bar, Why Not Bar, and Sailing Club which is a little up market and expensive for us but its on the beach and is lush! Everyone needs treat every once and a while. The steak I treated myself to the other night was luuuuuush!
We have met some lovely people here. Josephine and Becki, Chris Tom Sam Alex, all from the UK, we met on the boat trip. Laura, Lisa and Sally from the UK we were staying in a dorm with, and I think were traveling down to Ho Chi Min City with Sally and Lisa tonight. Ollie and Seth from Bristol who moved into our dorm 2 days ago, and Seb who has been floating around for the last couple of days.
Hope you all back home are doing well? enjoy Italy Mum and Dad, try not to bump into any Vampires in Voltaire. Happy Birthday Grandad, Love you lots, hope you have a good day!
