YO!
We're now in Udaipur (and have been for a couple of days), the few days we had before that in Pushkar were really relaxing (just what we needed after Jaipur and Delhi). As mentioned in our previous blog, Pushkar is a small pilgrimage village with a lake where the pilgrims bathe. It was very green and scenic, we witnessed a storm on the first night which was cool because the whole sky lit up with lightning, we sat and watched it from the rooftop restaurant in our hotel. We could hear singing and chanting from far off in the woods that made it a memorable experience.
I've finally gotten over my bad stomach which lasted a few days, it was nice to just chill out in pushkar though. Our hotel was in quite a rural area with a nice stroll into the centre, past some interesting neighbours. The bazaars in Pushkar were much more pleasant to walk around, a lot less hassle!
We got the train on Friday from Ajmer to Udaipur (5 hours), Kate got pooed on by a bird at Ajmer train station (hahaha). We leave Udaipur on Tuesday, we're getting the sleeper train to Agra so we can visit Sydney Opera House.
We've uploaded a few pictures from our time in Pushkar, it takes ages to upload so it's only a select few.
Anyway, it's India's independence day today so we're off to see what's happening!
Lots of love

The Clan I think mum and dad would rather have had a camel at crop than the vw camper. Its monsooning down here all week so I would stay there. Mum: Have you run out of clean clothes yet?
