So then it has been a while hasn't it. Lots to update on.
Firstly, not much to say about Vienna, my first instincts of it were pretty much right, it is not one of my favourite places in the world. Saw lots of skeletons there, very strange.
But then, onto Venice. The journey through the Alps was cool, rivers frozen already, was stunning. Then the Fish. What a hostel, by far my favourite of the lot. It is pretty much on its own island. It was quite a querky hostel in the querkiest place I have ever been. Venice really does rock. The people there were awesome, we all got on really well and had some good nights together, I have even met up with some later on in the trip.
Then the night of all nights. Milan. I get there, no hostel booked nothing. So I leave my bags in the train station and book onto a night train. Why you might be asking yourselves. Well the answer is to watch Stereophonics. Firstly, kinda bump into Kelly outside the gig while queueing to get in. Then who walks past but none other than EDDIE JORDAN. Thats right, the F1 supremo himself. Had a bit of a chat with my mate Eddie about the football inside and outside the gig. How awesome is that. Then the gig starts a bit late. Oh. What do I do? Well i stayed and watched it, it was so good. Ended up missing my train but met a couple of other lads who had a mix up with their hostel and we all stayed in the cheapest accomodation possible, Milano Centrale train station. Thats right. What a night lol.
Off to Rome then. Rome was good, seen the ruins, chilled on the Spanish Steps. Did all the usual stuff generally, was good fun, met some good people there as well. And now I am in Florence. My last full day in Italy. Florence is cool as well, lots of good stuff to see, like David for example which is the best thing I've seen on this trip. So off to Barcelona tomorrow. The Spanish leg of the trip, the last leg of the trip. I only have like a week left and if its anything like the last few it should be awesome. It does mean I have to head back to Milano Centrale though unfortunately but them be the breaks. So if I get a chance I will keep you all updated soon but if not i shall see you all at home from a week tomorrow. Ciao people
