We went for a quick walk this morning to find something for breakfast. We found a shop that had heaps of fresh food so we went in. I got a fresh fruit salad that was delicious and we also shared our first bagel. It was delicious! Then, we walked down to first energy stadium to watch the NFL, Cleveland Browns vs San Francisco 49rs. On the way we passed many car parks which were full of "tail gaters". They are die hard fans that hang out in the parking lots before every game. They had all sorts of entertainment including their own nfl games, loud music, massive BBQ's and bean bag games. Some people showed up in customised buses! Some of the tail gaters come into the stadium while others watch the game in the parking lots on big TVs. We were at the very top so we had really good seats. There was about 80 000 people, in the stadium. There was really loud music and so much entertainment so I never got bored. The Browns had a dog called swagger that was its mascot. It was so funny!!! The game kicked off at 1. The atmosphere was electric. The whole crowd was getting into it. We got a hot dog and curly fries for lunch which was pretty good. In the end, the Browns won! 24-10. It was a great game. At the end, there was fireworks which was so loud! Once we left, there were heaps of browns fans who were going to be partying on all night! We decided just to go back to the deli to get some dinner. I got an Italian salad which was delicious and Jack got a chicken wrap. We are having an early night tonight in preparation for our car ride back to Washington tomorrow.

Maryanne, the 'tailgating' in the car parks is unbelievable! Only in America and something to experience. Adds to the atmosphere and excitement of the day!! V x
