hey everyone, havnt been very good in keeping this up to date..wil only be short summary of what we did..but after pangdaran..we went to jogykarta which is the capital of java..it was very busy..went on a tour on a rickshaw around the place, saw local industries, sultans palace, sultans baths where he chose his lady friends!!! went out for nice meals, the same band came and played while we were eating looking for tips but they were really gud..went out there which was quite gud..they really like their regae..after jogykarata if i remember correctly. (my diary is upstairs) we went to Mt bromo area..had an early nite as we got up at 3am the next morning..watched the sunrise overy mt bromo(volcano) but wasnt a perfect sunrise as it was quite cloudy!and freezing!!!!we went with 4 by 4s they are the only cars that can get up to the look out point..later we went up mt bromo on horses which was kewl, up there you could see the volcano steaming, it was still active and if you were quiet enough u could hear it...after mt bromo we went to lovina which is in bali..we were all so shattered as we'd bin up since 3 in the morn and then traveled all day til 1130..we were waiting out to sea on the boat for ages as there was the bali climate change conference there was very tight security...lovina was great, by the beach..we went to some hot springs had a lot of fun there! all of us gals found a guy that we stood and watched for the duration of the afternoon, he was one of those that should be on a shower gel advert!!! had a nice evening there in lovina playing ring of fire which was a lot of fun!!!!after lovina went to a place called tirtagangga..which was in the rice terraces, had the most incredible view over the terraces and surrounding mountains..went for dinner down ther road and the walk back i saw the most incredible stars ive seen my entire life. There was hardly any lights as we were just in the countryside and hardly any houses so the stars were so bright...and there were so many glow flies it was incredible..next we visited Ubud, cultural centre of bali, there were so many shops, boutiques...there we just explored the city..we were going to eat at the only fast food place that indonesia have but was actually really expenisve and had things such as pressurised chicken!lol...our hotel had a pool so we chilled out there as wel..in tirtgangga we also went to sultons baths agen where we actually swam as wel..was so cold but nice! one evening we watched a kechak dance which is a traditional dance of the area and tels the story of rama and sita and a few other stories. Different areas do perform it slightly different...The tour finished here..But a few of us then went to Kuta- Bring on the Party..we all got a villa together..oh my god it was amazing to go from basica accomadation to this was jus great...on suit rooms, kingsize bed oh it felt like heaven i was so excited...first few days in kuta we chilled out by the sea, pool, strolled, shopped-so much cheap stuff..ate by the seafront had some incredible meals and there was western food which was great, u realise how much u miss it wen ur constantly having noodles and rice! some of my friends left and was couple of us left, we'd have a chill out day and then anotehr day hire a van/driver for the day and go and explore the area..one day we went to nusa dua which is the expensive area of bali, then pedang pedang beach followed by going to uluwatu temple where we watched another kechek dance on the cliff as the sun set ..it was amzing..there were sooooo many monkey there actually quite scary!of course we partied as wel in kuta..i loved it..fav place was called bounty..they have people doing break dancing shows and all sorts on stage is wikid..i loved bali so os much i cannot wait to go bk!!!!!!!! so mid december i flew out to Oz!
