Today was an early start with a wake up call at 4am for a 5am bus start.
We meet our tour director Michael, and drove out to Dover to catch the ferry to Calais France, a 90 min trip.
Once on board the bus again we drove through France, Belgium and then into Holland finally arriving in Amsterdam in the early afternoon.
The tour then went to the red light district, I took the kids to try their chips with mayo, and visit the local streets. We picked up some souvenirs, and watched a mime for some time. Brad meet up with us and we went looking for some special Amsterdam cookies, which he enjoyed after dinner.
We enjoyed a guided cruise around the canals of Amsterdam, followed by dinner on a floating Dutch / Chinese restaurant. Finally to the hotel, a huge travelling day for the kids.
