Dad was very disappointed that he missed your call last night. So far we have enjoyed Mello Mushroom pizza, stir fry and red beans and rice in your absence. We are going out to dinner tonight. Bet you didn't think learning would be so fun. Are your feet tired yet? Please be sure to take some good photos for Mrs. Elliot at the History Museum. I know she would love them. Glad to see your having fun. I hope your eating well.
Tomorrow when you go to Mount Vernon take in all you can. I went to high school at Mount Vernon high just 2 miles or so from Old George & Martha's house and as I'm sure you will be taking the parkway to get there from CC you will pass Fort Hunt Park which is were my friends and I hung out nearly every day in the summers. Anyway enjoy. PS Sonny Jurgenson's (former Redskin Quarterback) house backs up to the the Potomac right near there. Or at least it did when I lived there. Maybe he has moved by now as that was ?? years ago. Enjoy!
