This is along a pretty little path to go to Lidl's or Tesco. I promised to make pancakes following up the amazing crepes that Helene made for Feb 2 Le Chandilier where it is traditional to have crepes. My new favourite day of the year :) Note to all North American's. I did not have my mom's pancake recipe and decided to try just making the easy mix pancakes. I have decided that this is where the saying "flat as a pancake" comes from. They don't put baking powder in their pancakes and they just don't look right here. My poor cobaye roommates. Cobaye is guinea pig in french and that was the term we use when trying new things on each other :)
