The second weekend in Nottingham (first staying at my new flat) we had a lovely, if wet, snow that had the entire city at a bit of a stand still. Thankfully it was the weekend and I stayed home with my roommates for an encore of crepes and creativity with maple syrup. The girls had never tried maple syrup on snow so that was the event of the weekend with fresh and clean snow. When I mentioned this to a lovely officer at the Prime Minister's house he said that he had always been warned to avoid yellow snow :) We had a good chuckle over this anyway.
