The colony elder has done a great miracle with the help of the Lord and saved my life so that I can yet again, teach the Iroquois peoples about the Lord again! I am filled with so much joy that I ran out of my housing and proclaimed my health! I feel slightly embarrassed but do not care. Getting healthier is all I need to be the Missionary I need to be!

It is July 9th and I have been placed on absence for illness. I consulted the colony's elder about it and he said he would find something to help. So I am currently laying at home in bed and awaiting the medication that is proper for this illness. The children come by and ask to pray with me and I let them. It is good to know that they enjoy listening to the Lord's words that I speak.

It is the first of July and I have been introduced to the Iroquois peoples. Edmund and I have begun our practices in spreading the Holy Word of God. The Iroquois people listen well and are very attentive. I have a lot of patience and can wait for even the youngest children to settle down or the eldest member to arrive. MY NEIGHBORHOOD AND HOME are among one of the finest places I have ever seen! Though I do not pride myself in luxuries this is a lovely place to rest in. A large warm fireplace, art lining the walls, and fine silks and curtains line the windows. My neighborhood is a small one where I reside in a small colony with Edmund Alastair. We together shall introduce myself to the Hethens and then begin our heavenly duties.
