Arriving at Montanita at 8h00, we check in into our hostel and slept for a bit and wondered around for the rest of the day. We spend New Year in Montanita, where we met lots of lovely people and ended a bit drunk. Of course, in the state, you are always full of stupid ideas so Lee and I decided to go skinny dimping at 3h00am of the morning. We left all our clothes on the beach to discover after our swim that they had been stolen. So it is Lee and I naked on the beach running back to our hotel, while we still stop to ask people if they have found our clothes. As the key of our hotel was in our clothes as Lee's wallet, we had to break in into our room and pick up clothes to dress. We finally found our clothes on the beach at 6h00 of the morning but the key and the wallet had disapeared (luckily it was only $10 on it). So we had to call London )thank you Jay) on New Years day to cancel all the cards. Being a bit stupid on New Year day, we also realised that we spend most of our cash. So Garry which we met at our hostel (thank you so much again) lend us some money until we got ourself sorted. As you can guess South America it isn't as Western countries and the first ATM machines was 2 hours away from Montanita. So made it our mission on the Friday. The rest of the stay at Montanita was pleasant. Steph had a first surfing lesson. You've got to feel special when californian give you a surfing lesson. I could say that at the moment the paddling and sitting are there. I just need to learn how to stand up now.
