Hey hey Peeps.... so dispite the frizzy hair and mozzi bites I am doing very well. I am just waiting for Tania to arrive so thought I would make use of the free internet. Also I am trying to stay out the way, as for some reason Thai people find me funny... well they keep looking and laughing and everytime I speak they find this hilarious. I am not sure why this is, but its making me slightly paranoid.
The journey to the airport was funny with my mate Rach reaching 70mph at one point. Legend!!! I put my backpack on walked 10 steps and had to take it off again as to heavy, much to the amusement of the Police. I ran and got a trolley, caught my toe, tripped and the had blood everywhere. O the glamour!! I went through security and I must of looked dodgy as I got searched twice and my bag had to be unpacked, searched, scanned TWICE. They didn;t find anything..... haha suckers! I met up with Mel and then she took me into her world... First Class Lounge. Normally I get asked if I want a pint so it was a pleasant surprise to be greeted with a 'glass of champers Madam'. I had my hair washed, cut and blow dried, and then felt disappointed that I was getting on a flight rather then going out showcasing the new do. We sat and chilled, drinking cocktails and building up the emotion. Melissa then escorted me on the plane. EMOTIONAL goodbye, mascara everywhere and hysterical laughing.
My flight was awesome and went so fast. I did not get upgraded but I did have two seats to myself. The man near me had an issue where he would not stop sniffing or making that horrendous clearing of the throut noise. (im noise sensitive) so this wound me up a treat and by the end (12 hours later) I wanted to stuff my tissues down his throat but deep breaths and more passion fruit cocktails got me through it. I then arrived n Hong Kong where I waited for 2 hours for my next flight to Bangkok. We had to get a shuttle bus where some drunk american started ranting at everyone. It was funny as as all the Chinese people looked so scared but I by this point had been travelling for 24 hours and was standing right next to him and his whiskey odour, I was about to lose the plot. So I calmy told him to pipe down and stop getting agro. I think he was so shocked that I spoke up he shut up. I could tell all the Chinese had a new found respect for me and were giving me mental high fives.
I arrived at the Hostel which was just an open space, no doors, just a varander with stray dogs and cats. It was awful but funny as so bad! As soon as I got there a very good looking Israli came down for a cigeratte (good looking by the way is an understatement), so I sat chatting with him. I fell in love when he told me I looked 24. By this time my hair was massive and stuck to my face, not like how I left Heathrow. He asked me to go for breakfast the next day but I declined when he told me he was 22. Haha!! He then offered to carry my bag to my room, 4 flights of stairs, which he did on his shoulders. Hero! The bedroom door was broken and had no lock so I was pleased my bag was heavy as I had to put it against the door incase said man or any other weirdo wanted in.
I have now got to my next hotel chosen by Tania and I am just waiting for her to arrive hopefully at 5pm. So far I gether Bangkok is mental. I am worried about myself as I keep looking at peoples chest trying to work out if they are lady boys or not, slightly pervy I know but hopefully I will get over this and am putting it down to culture adaption.
Speak to you all soon, don't judge my English, spelling or punctuation (Jo G) I am on a time limit and I write as I speak. Broken English :-) Love to you all. xxxx
