9/11/08 Hanoi, VietnamWell where can I start...Hanoi is crazzzy! V different to clean and modern HK. We do miss HK lots. Apart from annoying honking from cars as well as mopeds, ringing bells of cyclo taxi wanting you to ride them and the fact it was scary crossing the road as they wont stop for pedestrian even with a green man on..apart from all that Hanoi seems ok. Cant wait to start the tour and see more scenic places like Halong Bay. People here are very nice...

Hong Kong - What a beautiful place. Dave and I stayed in the backpackers hostels called Chunking Mansion - Block C, floor 15. The place was fully booked in our first night which was unfair as we prebooked so they took us at the back door, went up 2 floors up to a dodgier place (think its were locals and workers slept) flat. Room was v basic with tv, fan, AC and a very hard double bed and a wet room/shower toilet. Yep I was a little scared staying in that ghetto. ...
