We finally got the truck on Monday but it was very complicated and took an unbelievable 7 hours on the dock. There were several of us waiting and everyone had lost something from their vehicle mostly their radios. we were very glad to leave buenos Aries behind and we found a lovely campsite by a huge lake where we spent 2 nights sorting the trucks out and generally getting organised. We are continuing south on very quiet roads that seem to go on for ever, very straight and very flat and have spent last night on a campsite by a huge expanse of beach where the sea was warm enough to swim in. The real world seems very far away and we have started to be more relaxed about things . Some food is very cheap, the bread is about 15 p for enough for 4 people and is like the French baguette, croissants are about the same price.petrol is about half the uk price. Everywhere we go we are approached by other travellers and people generally are so friendly we seem to spend all the time talking to folk in an array of languages. My Spanish is coming on as few locals seem to speak English. We have also met a few Germans and French people.
