yesterday's flight from brazil to london was roughest of whole trip (Inc my flying lesson!). Now on train to leeds. It's dull damp & cold (3 deg C). Back to work tomorrow, so will complete blog over the next few days.

Baldrick the Pistorian I think that this urban motorway may well have cut through a cemetery or two in the Tinakori area of Wellington which should open up lots of architectural possibilities for my grandchildren on TV1 in a future Time Challenge program. Well done Frank.
re: photo from 04 February 2010David Bellamy If I'm not mistaken Frank, I'd say that you have photographed a Pohutakauri tree which is indigenous to New Zealand, loves the coast since it hates frost and flowers at Christmas time. Well done for taking such a lovely photo.
