Congratulations Fran and Maryann. You two rock.
As much fun the touring is, I'm sure its great to be finished this one. Great to see you looking forward to the next adventure. Can't talk you two into randonneuring?
Jean Carr
Congratulations, Fran! Well done! Enjoy some R&R in San Diego!

I'm not sure Rennie, but my personal preference is still for the panniers. It's less awkward to maneuver the bike and I can still enjoy the downhill runs. Also I don't have to worry about packing a trailer at the end of the tour.
Rennie
Do you think it is harder to carry gear rather than tow it like Mary?? You guys are doing great:)
Jean Carr
Hi Fran,
Sounds like interesting adventures, glad you're out of those other places. Let's hope once you hit the south coast, that the weather and the people are warmer. You guys are amazing! Keep safe, Jean
Rennie
Hi Fran, Enjoying your blog and pics along with Mary's. A lot of your travel was same route I took:) Once in CA we turned East as you will be following coast South. Ride safe and stay strong!
Rennie
Following your and Mary's blogs everyday. This is the same route and roads we took riding from Vancouver to Texas in 09. Really neat to see some things that I remember:) Take care and enjoy!
PS. Take care of my sis:)

You gals are tough. I can't imagine going those distances each day hauling all that gear. Keep up the good work.
