A flat white! Finally!We had been on quite a poor run in Adelaide, but here we were served with what looked like, smelt like, tasted like flat whites!A perfect temperature, this was a dark, dark roast, but it's texture lets it get away with it. Smooth at the start, powerful to finish. Much to commend here, but probably not quite to our tastes. Iron in velvet glove comes to mind... In coffee form. AF

We make ourselves breakfast in the Airbnb kitchen, before heading to outer north Adelaide to find the recommended laundrette to do our laundry. I'm still deeply unimpressed at Brad's miselling in his Airbnb details. Which we relied on, to our detriment. Just for the (legal) record.The owner of the laundrette is there when we arrive, and he's really friendly - eager to please and help if needed. He even gives us a dollar when it turns out we're one...

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a flat white. But too hot to start with. (Rookie mistake)A dark roast, that leaves a bitter aftertaste, it probably wasn't quite milky enough to make us want more. Also slightly powdery to start off with. All in all, too many minor mistakes to score highly. Off to pick up our laundry now. AF
