As the saying goes .... again - another day, another country!!!!
Trying to remember what we've been up to since the last update - it's been a crazy last couple of days, that's for sure! We left Malawi, and crossed the border into Zambia. That afternoon, we headed to see Victoria Falls for the first time, it was amazing! They are spectacular ... and it's the dry season, can't imagine them in full flight. When we were there, we went for a swim at the top of the falls, and then this guy took us a bit of a wacky adventure where Fluke ended up sitting with his legs dangling over the edge of the falls, which evidently are twice as high as Niagra falls!!!! i've got photo's and will try and upload them ASAP! Then yesterday we went white water rafting down the Zambezi river, it was madness - we've got photo's and a dvd and again, will be showing everyone, Fluke is mad - I swear I near on drowned ... but we survived! Then last night we went on a booze cruise down the Zambezi .. didn't really leave the bar though, but I'm sure it was amazing, when the cruise finished we went and had a couple more drinks, then went for a swim where Fluke proved himself the backflip king and spent the next half hour trying to instruct the other tour members how to do a backflip into the pool, all the while being totally blind himself!!! Anyway ... woke up this morning, half hung over but it was too hot to sleep anyway, so we had breaky and headed off for a gourge swing, where you get strapped into a harness and then you freefall backwards off a cliff, dropping 53m in 3 seconds - to be perfectly honest it was amazing and I loved it, and I can say that now because it's been a few hours since I did it, but at the time I sh#t myself, it was crazy - the worse feeling I've ever had!!! Again, we've got a dvd of it .. so funny cos the guy was telling us it was time to fall and you can just see me looking down shaking my head going 'no, no, not yet!!' ... crazy!! anyway, we did this instead of bungee jumping so am happy. This afternoon we went on a helicopter ride over the Falls, it was spectacular, so much better than just walking around - you've gotta do this kirty! Tomorrow morning we are going into Zimbabwe to do the lion walk ... will update again after that, gotta go, time's up on the net ... love to all, home in 2 weeks, can't wait!
Love Spud and Fluke xxx
