Two spots visited today:-
Golconda Fort is located on the outskirts of Hyderabad and was built during the reign of the Qutb Shah kings in the 16th Century. It was, in fact, a water shortage at the Fort that lead to the building of Hyderabad.
This is a very imposing group of stone structures spreading across and down a 120 metre granite hill. There are apparently concealed glazed earthen pipes that controlled the water supply - not "well" enough though (nyuk,...
