Had a great day today - Merrilyn is so wonderful - she took us on a tiki tour around Stanley Park and Horse Shoe Bay which is on the way to Whistler if you were going there. We also went to a supension bridge in a park - it was really cool. We all walked over it even though it had started to snow and rain. Pretty cool though standing on the bridge with snow falling all around us. She then dropped us off in Stanley Park where we went to the Aquarium.
The Aquarium was really cool - we saw dolphins, baluga whales, sea lions - which sneezed all over Gerard and lots of other things. My favourite was the jelly fish - they looked so cool and were really amazing - them and the different coral they had. There was heaps to do and we ended up being there for about four hours!!
We then wandered through Stanley Park back to the city and around the shopping area.
Merrilyn took us for another tour at night to see the city lights and then around Simon Fraser University - it was really cool. AND then she took us out to dinner at a great Greek resturant - wont forget the lamb in a hurry. We are so grateful to Merrilyn for all her hospitality and love while we were there - she really is amazing
