Club sandwich in our new accommodation. Like a burger with a cheese single! The bread was really nice though. Like a homemade half and half. Chips are crinkly in the Philippines too :). Spicy marierose sauce on the side was nice.

5 peso (10 cent) Treats from the bakery. The brilliant purple cakes. Sweet tasting and moist. Its really enjoyable eating purple cake for some reason.

We were planning eating in tonight and I had pre cooked the sticky rice. So I made coconut sticky mango rice as dessert. Had loads extra so gave it to the hotel guys. Everyone loves sticky rice. Turned out better than last two attempts. :) Heading in Right direction :)

This is the authentic wood oven prosciutto crudo pizza. Hard to get the ham here so we were v appreciative of the slices we got :) base nice and crispy, cheese was perfectly melted and full of flavour. An unexpectedly Great execution.

Went out for dinner to an Italian. The smell of the wood burning oven was too hard to resist. They even gave us an amuse bouche. This is not a fancy place so this was really nice treat. It was fish pâté. Like baked jack fish with black pepper on a bed of tomatoes and basil. Really refreshing. Even The silver fox who dislikes the fish pates of peppered mackerel that I adore was complimentary. Pineapple juice was my drink. Very island style.
