More banana than the ones in thailand but v similar dry taste ;)
Chocolate sauce was Hershey's !!! Heaven.

Ate dinner about 6 so at 9 had little snack. Snack monster. Really nicely cooked chips. Cooked all the way through :) Marie rose dipping sauce too.

Pork noodles. When they arrived they had a truly awful taste that coated your mouth. Like gone off oil and meat. But the man who brought them showed me to add lime, red vinegar, soy and white pepper. I added loads tried again. A little bit more edible but the original taste was still there. I gagged a little and decided I wasn't that hungry :)

Found great little mamas kitchen.
Tried the chicken and pork adobe (stews)
It was a really tasty mild tomato and pepper based chicken and potato stew with lots of proper meat.
Followed by more purple bread at the great bakery. (need recipes for the purple breads and cakes :))
Ube macapuno. Purple yam cake.

Round it all off with 80 peso rhum (per bottle is €1.5 !) and coke.
Helps calm the nerves with all the talk of typhoons :)
