Hey-o Y'all,

So I decided to blog since I'm travelling quite a bit this summer and would like to keep track. Starting with the amazing road trip to Calgary with my roomie Easter weekend.

So we leave at about 10:30am. The plan was to leave at 5am, so you can see that that went well. We made it quite a ways before Kieva had to pee, and I'm proud of her for that. We stopped in...somewhere small on the way to Calgary and ate road trip McDonalds. Then we ended up in Red Deer somehow. I'm such a good driver.

Lets skip to the zoo! Which we almost didn't get lost at all going to. So we park the car and there is no zoo. Just highways and industrial buildings. This zoo is supposed to be massive so the fact that we can't even see a little part of it is cause for concern. So we follow everyone else. You know, the children and their parents, to the secret underground zoo entrance.

We start off in the Canadian wild. A bad call on my part since there was so much other stuff that we don't have in Canada to see. But it was interesting nonetheless. That's where we met Mr. Peakers and the duck (pictures to follow).
