Thailand yes!!!!!!!!!!!
A month in Thailand went by with a click of my fingers.
So....here I am in the Airport reflecting on this month.
Bangkok initially was exciting you know yuo had it all, really cool resturants, shopping, nightlife and lots of sight seeing. Basically tourist heaven. The Temple of Dawn, The Royal Palace, tok
tok rides and the banter loved it. Untill....when you realise the fact that Bangkok is a tourist magnet and the taxi drivers and tok toks are working for commision. SO when you want to go to the Zoo
you end up having a mini tour around the city and the stops are ATA travels or tailor shop. I mean why would i buy a suit? Im already running out of money.
The Marbel palace where i got to see the monks chanting and descovering the spritiual side to me...im loving these temples it just so beautiful. Thailand is stunning in every corner you will see
the gold painting and the king and Queens pictures. I had the opportunitie to be here during the kings birthday. The trees had fairy lights it really felt like xmas.
I shoppped and shopped and shopped bought lots of bags told my friend to stop letting me buy for sake of it looking really beautiful. Bangkok is so bussy and lively especially the backpakers
street Koh San Road. You can find things from clothes to silver to food to CD and the bars are on the same road. So if you fancy a drink boogie and shopping you can do it all on one street.
The 'ECO House' was just beautiful i was in the brown house, the days were spent sunbathing, reading, chatting, going to the local bar which was right next door it looked like a house turned bar.
The women were super friendly there nights were we would be outside drinking she would be inside with her friends singing and dancing on her own. The night of Tolga party Caroline's birthday us
braking the hammok because i was on it so was Leanne, Gemma and John. The bar woman wasnt very happy because after that Kyle did the super swing and she was scared it was going to snap. Then little
boy Ali who walked around as if he own the place. OH and our co-ordinator Gad he did not want to spend much time with us he just left us to do most of the sight seeing and would just chill in the bus
with his hammok up sleeping.
The non stop temple visits and constant shopping everywhere we went we hd go into a shop. Who can forget the teaching day, morning exercises, and Charoline's dance workout with the the Thai
children. How about me being like a child in the classroom where no teachers were around to keeping eye on the children. It was manic but fun made papper planes. It was fun!!!
The TREKKING!!!!
The three nights of sleeping in a tent on the ground, the jungle trekking our Guides not so funny jokes. The beautiful waterfalls. Oh my drop.......thinking that a log would be good enough for me
step on to cross a small puddle. Well was it a small puddle nope god i sank right up to my thighs. The caving the guide grabing my foot making me scream and then Tom thinking it was funny did the
same hahaha so funny.
Oh the mountian trekking yeap it was interesting i was left behind got all emational then Jenna made sure i got on the motobike to catch up with them. Yeah and the group waiting for so sweet! Then
begins the difficult trekk i mean i was gasping for breath had to take regular breaks but the rest of the group was so patient. Gavin motivating the whole group everyones joy when we got up to the
Top!!!!! Ringing the bell. Apparently the newly weds or the couples would walk up this mountian to lie together forever. Going down was fun! Some people went ahead and falling on the hay as we got
down as the sun was setting beautiful just stunning. The hard core group, Gavin, John, Tom, Della, Caroline, Jess, Kile, me, Racheal and Lydia.
The beach was cool did a lot of sunbathing and eating amazing food, party and ohhhhhhhhhh diving was beyound my imagiantion. It was so beautiful the coral and fish I mean the soft coral changed
colour to comoflage itself. The shells that blinked it was amazing some the reef looked like elephants. ITwas just stunning.
Before i forget the tiger temple was really cool walked with the tigers and stroked them. Oh and the Elephants i was so nervious being next to something so big and strong.
