Found a gem
I am so lucky to be where I am and thankful to all you back home for helping me. I hope this finds you in good spirits, if not then the good times will roll soon, conversely I could be kidnapped by Dark Forces tomorrow, for now though I am enjoying the moment.
Arrived in Varkala and it is the most serene place I have visited so far, the people are so laid back and have genuine warmth in their manners, everybody has a smile on their face. The beach is spotless, the cliffs are stunning and the food is first class, will be doing a spot of Yoga whilst I'm here and try to learn from the masters. Staying in a German ladies house 300 rupees (about £4) for an ensuite balcony room a night.
Didn't do much today just lazed around, chatted to a few people swam in the sea and continuing to read 1984(best book ever, Orwell is a genius).
A few significant temples nearby I will see over the coming days, also a famous Ashram where I may be tempted to stay a few nights at!
From wonder into wonder existence opens.
