OOOH! I went to Koh Samet- loved it!... you have made me quite green with envy! Really glad that you are having such a good time. And so much more to come! That's just greedy! Loved the Japan photos- now I really understand what your Kyoto schoolkids experience was about! Have a safe flight to Sydney, and keep us updated! love, Lou xx

It all sounds so exotic, I'm sooo jealous. I'm definitely prepared to swop Martyn for a stray dog if I can be magically transported there without the planning, packing and journey. Note, i'm ignoring the mozzies of course!
Have fun in the sun!
Jude
Hello Feather, I hope you are relaxing on said beach and enjoying yourself after all the manic things in Bangkok. I liked the photos - especially the one of you bravely/nervously stroking the big tiger, are you mad? Jxxx
Dad
the file size of the japanese photos was 0 kb so the message was not there --please resend the attachments
Dad
lovely photos of Thailand on webmail but could not get the Japanese photos out although their numbers had come through--nothing on my email-glad you have met your friend to have a nice rest. Love - Dad

Hi Rucy from Rundon. Your trip sounds absolutely amazing, leeches - mozzies an all. I guess whilst you are travelling and experiencing all your new adventures you will be missing the footie. Everybody here has gone MAD with football. Reading your journal seems unreal in the midst of all this hype. Keep the diary updated - its fabulous. Take Care - Be safe. Paula (Nadia's mum)

Think a large Thai barnet is preferable to a large London one - it's been sweltering here over the weekend. Everyone in the office is currently sporting tramlines and scorch marks from making a mad dash for the sun and failing to remember we're actually British and more likely to turn the same shade of red as our retro '66 football shirts than a lovely golden brown.
The England/Scotland/Ireland divide was ever present in Stokey on Saturday afternoon but blows were avoided (probably due to the heat and our complete inertia) however, the fans watching the match down at Canary Wharf didn't let us down and 200 of them started a mini riot during the second half (over goodness knows what as the rest of the country was fast asleep by that point).
All in all you're nae missing a thing Feathers so just make sure you avoid politely holding anyone elses luggage for them whilst wondering through customs, get your map the correct way round and go forth and frizz!
Lisa
Well done for getting there in one piece, sounds like you're having an amazing time.
Keep us posted, and i'm glad someone else has suffered the bus in wrong direction thing!!
Did you go to that bar where they hand drinks up through the floor??
Rucy From Rundon
I cant make them work but i have found a nice man from who reckons he can help me. I may be Japanese superstar but i am also Engrish technofool. Xx
