Hope you are having a great time in Vietnam. We stayed on the cruise shipin Halong Bay but did a day trip into the countryside in a coach driven by a lunatic and overtaking everything in sight!! As you said scooters are everywhere but what amazed us was what was being carried on them. Their way of life is so different but interesting!
I expect you are now getting into this travelling lark now and we can assure you that you won't want to leave Singapore when you get there. Such a lovely clean and spotless place, you will love China town.
I am getting ready for the family lunch tomorrow, shame you cannot be here too but where you are is far more interesting.
We are going to sunny Spain for a week beginning of Sept. as we are fed up with our awful summer.
