IM IN WHISTLER!

im staying in a really nice hostel, its on this random lake (not sure what its called) and its got a brilliant view of the mountains, or would if the clouds would lift and the sleet would go away.

it was a mission getting here. i got lost on the sky train in Vancouver until a nice policeman told me where to go, and then only just got on the greyhound before it left. (it was pissing it down the whole time and i got very damp) the greyhound took an hour longer than it was meant to, the roadworks where almost as bad as gend. when i got here me and a german girl called Suzanne shared a taxi to the hostel coz its miles out of the way and the next bus was at 6!!

but im settled in fine now, heading off to town in a second with Remona (another german girl) to have a look around.

oh yeah....

thank for the references....I GOT A JOB AT THE FOUR SEASONS!!!

ps. i get to move in to the accom in Creekside (few miles from the center) on the 15th Nov, and then start work as a room attendant on the 20th (not exactly what i wanted job wise but its going to be quite good fun i think). i will be earning $13.10 an hour, which is amazing compared to other jobs, and i get food and money to get myself to work. im also going to be doing some volunteer ski work for the mountain (like setting up runs and stuff) which i have to do once a week, but that will get me a completely free ski pass! woop!

unfortunately only two others are coming up to whistler, but im on my own atm. the rest have gone to bannf. however, Rupert (one of the whistler ppl) is getting a car and we are going to drive over to bannf at some point in the winter when we have some time off (i also get a week holiday from the hotel) and see everyone. also Paul is coming up to see us before he goes over to bannf to do a rep job which should be fun.

at the moment tho, im allll alone! but there are some nice people in the hostel so it should be fine.

oh yes....DISAPPOINTED!!
