Day 14 - Dallas and Fort Worth

Today i took the car back to the rental place at Fort Worth airport, had to pay more than expected but what could I do!!!

We all headed out to Fort Worth to see the Longhorn Steers and historic stockyard area. We stopped at a Railhead Smoke House, I had a bisket sandwich with BBQ sauce, now this place was a real experience! We were certainly in true cowboy country now!!! Then we headed to the stockyard area, which has been restored to the old style as a tourist trap but there were some amazing and very tacky shops which we just had to go into each one! The longhorns do a walk through the streets as a parade of sorts. Great photo opportunities!!

Then we drve home for an easy dinner and early to bed.
